Webhooks are a powerful way to automate your workflows and get the most out of your Sales Simplify account. Setting up a webhook in Sales Simplify will give you instant notifications about changes to your data so that you always stay on top of the latest information.
Webhooks allows you to receive programmatic notifications from Sales Simplify regarding changes to your data as they occur.
Instead of requiring you to pull information through our API, webhooks will push the information to your endpoint. When any of these events are triggered, Sales Simplify sends this notification as a HTTP POST request with a JSON body, at the termination point you specify.
By following these steps, you can set up a webhook that will trigger a notification to be pushed to the endpoint specified every time for lead, deal, people, company, activity, and activity has been updated in your Sales Simplify account.
Now, when you receive a push notification, you can create a custom action to occur automatically such as sending out an email or notifying your team on a third-party app.
Setting up your Webhook:
Step 1 - To get started, go to Admin Settings > Webhook
Step 2 - Click Add Webhook and setup the endpoint and select the trigger point or action where you want to activate the Webhook
Step 3 - Once added verify the same at the endpoint. Your Webhooks are ready to use.
